In the southern part of Bihar, this beautiful estate Tekari was created, maintained by the most prominent representative of Bhumihar clan, the Tekari family. The Tekari Raj here was visible from the early 18th century by various kings who ruled over large parts of Magadh. The jungle full of Tetris trees was the land selected for the gigantic Tekari fort . The huge Tekari Fort was established by Raja Sundar Singh, the bravest warrior king of Tekari.

The Fort which was constructed almost 250 years ago .... by the the Tekari Rajas who were Bhumihars, chief of the Drontikar clan, of the Bhardwaj gotra from the village of Tekari.
The brave Drontikar kings established this majestic fort whose beauty has been eclipsed by the harshness of Mother Earth.
All the nearby buildings you see are those of the erstwhile servants and vassal of Tekari Raj.
